    Suilven

Fishing sounds a good idea. Been looking to start at Lochinver and find a nice circular route, conventional routes sound good, I'm definitely not a rock climber, not yet anyway. The above sounds perfect! Not sure whether the pictures on google do it justice. Haven't got a route planned...

So, can anyone tell me much about this area? Planning a trip up there later this year. Any particular places that folk would recommend? Cheers

    Your help is needed

Hi folks As some of you may be aware, I had a bout of sickness from October to January (most of it being house bound), a stint in hospital, long time off work etc. I've had this for 7 years now and have just had first hand experience of the severity of this disease, I've decided to raise...

    Safe Long-term Parking in Dartmoor

Dousland is a relatively safe place, lived there for about 15 odd years and even left my van doors wide open overnight before (needed to dry the rear out). You could try contacting The Burrator Inn as they have a good size carpark next to the main road and the inn is occupied 24/7. HTH Al

    Maglite Doctor Needed, Tempremental Maglite

TBH I gave up with maglite a couple years back, I've had to many that have given up the ghost and stopped working. Got fed up repairing and cleaning them. Good luck though.

I've done something similar, just taken left over tea, cottage pie, chilli etc on a trek for my lunch, not dehydrated but did the job, warmed up in boiling water and used the water for me cuppa :D

    Endicotts and Lowe Alpine/Dutch packs

Spent 10 minutes tonight upgrading my 40l pack, picked it up from Endis with a foam insert for the back panel, comfy enough but not stiff enough in the back plus it moulded to my back, became very sweaty the other day. So 10 minutes in the garage this evening, couple meters of copper tube and...

    A flight above the clouds

Awesome pictures, looks a fantastic place for a wander. Kites are a great way to appreciate to raw power of mother nature, add the kite to a harness, buggy and anything upto 45mph winds and you have the recipe for serious fun, with the odd bruise and broken rib or 2.

    Montane Extreme jacket, tight arms?

Must admit, got one and love it, it was a tight fit, all over, until I lost a stone within a month, fits pretty well now. The arms for me are a snug fit, nothing restrictive though, I suffer more of the length of them. The pockets could possibly do with being a little larger but all in all in I...
