What nickname do you have becasue of your hobbie?

As my last name is Kasper and in German bear is Bär they created Kaschbär (perhaps influenced by my partly grown beard and my liking of honey).

    post a picture of yourself

Me on Arran some years ago (probably 2009): And a bit more details (on own risk): I think it was on Devil's Staircase, when we finished this: Something the average exchange student should do!

    Nut job alert

In all his films he's making fun of Canadian Woodworking, it's more comedy than serious suggestions for woodwork. But thinking about it, some of it may be fun to reproduce ;)

    Walden by Henry David Thoreau.

I managed t oread Walden some years ago, not sure if could do it again untrained. His language is one of long sentences, something Germans are used to so it might be easier for some foreigners in English as a language than for others. He's a little bit revolutionary and very philosophical. In...

    Best way of removing rust?

Just the way you clean your teeth, paste and brush (I use my used electrical brushes, so it's quite funny).

    Taking knives abroad - help.

But for Germany there's a new law established, but it only conerns, if you like big ones. No fixed blade over 12cm, no one hand folders, otherwise you need a legal reason and no one knows what that might be (having one in the car to cut yourself loose wasn't a reason according to court).

    Taking knives abroad - help.

Problems are most likely oon your to the UK airport. Austria is quite flexible with sharps, much more than Germany for example.

Bicycles - what do you have?

Nice Pugsley! Don't loose it in the snow! I would change to something like a Shimano Alfine or even Rohloff Speedhub, better when it's wet and muddy.

Highlands of Scotland - fishing and mountain bikes?

You want to know, if something like this is possible: http://vimeo.com/7477117 You can always use your bike, worst case would be, that you have to do a bit of biking-hiking (http://www.biking-hiking.at/). I would always take a bike, 'cause of the long walks on roads (tarmac or gravel) and the...

Bicycles - what do you have?

For the longest part of my existence I'm a bike maniac. Because of limited money as a student :( , I'm down to one at the moment :crutch: , but it handles everything I want to do with it: I can fix a rack, fender are an option (if it gets really wet and I'm riding to town) and it tows my...
