Hi guys,
Im not inteding this to be a ''Ive got snow'', or a ''nope, no snow here'' thread
Was just wondering if anyone knows what the weather is/will be (possibly a clairvoyant moment... :p ) like around, and upto loch lomond/ mainly loch katrine in the coming days. As Im...
How do all,
thinking about heading to loch katrine early-mid november. Was hoping one of you guys knew if there was decent parking (for a couple of days)? Im looking at plonking the car at Stronachlachar - anyone know whether this'll be fine?
Thanks a lot,
Dan.
Hi all,
Help here would be much appreciated!!
Im looking for a few days' wild camping spot up in Scotland. Ive been looking at the Glen Shiel, and Glen Affric areas - but am unsure about both.
Can anyone offer some advice/places to go please (I will be in the car, unfortunatley...
Hi all,
cheers for the comments!
After reading these I went out and plucked the suspected shot wound - found no entry hole what so ever! unless it is a lot smaller than i imagined; but even so, there was no blood; evidence of bleeding; or even bruising!
I will have another look...

My cousing has just returned from Crete, studying Bee behaviour. And has came across the problem of this shrub...
ANY ideas on its' ID would be greatly appreciated!!
(p.s. the study involved netting random flowers on the tree; as seen in the photos)
sounding quite alright, although my 2 mates are anything but into anything bushcraft -meaning i get the usualy friendly grief off them!!
And i had considered talking my dd tarp, would be much more efficient getting that up for 1 night rather than putting my tent up and down!
sounds alright. A mate and his brother are going down with me, so ive got a lift off them. We'll be camping, none of this BB nonsense :p
:hatscarf:

Also, something i've been thinking, is how you would use natural navigation, i.e. the north star...
Hi, can I just add; the 'Latin' names should really be reffered to as 'botanical' (as previously stated), or 'scientific' names. This is because many botanical names are, incidentally, Latin. But alot are either Greek based i.e Lamium, and some have been named after certain people.
But the...
