    What have you learned recently?

I also learned that it is impossible to make fire with moonlight, no matter how large your magnifying glass. That surprised me.

    What have you learned recently?

I recently learned the theory and practice of using a sextant. Not really bushcrafty, but it could perhaps be called a "primitive skill" :).

    Anybody Famous For Anything?

I'm not famous for anything. I was a Red Cross volunteer at a cycling event once. Not a huge event, but there were some big names - top Tour de France cyclists among them. My Father Has Had a Bad Turn...

Tengu, I understand what it feels like to be in need of answers in a situation such as yours, and I agree with wat the others have said. Care, but don't fill your head with worry.

    What's your favorite watch?

I've had my Casio F-91W for ages, occasionally I buy a new wrist strap, it just keeps on going! I later read somewhere that it is/was a preferred watch among terrorists, to use as a timer to set off bombs [citation needed].

And why would you think that? I think they understand the film industry perfectly, but can still dislike their products, independently of why they were made. Posted on my ARMini using NetSurf

    The Hobbit movie

One critic called the film "a loveless abomination"... others loved it. I haven't seen the LOTR films and I'll pass on the Hobbit too. Posted on my ARMini using NetSurf

    Defining bushcraft

Yes, fair enough. I had thought up another (wrong) definition for those sets.

    Defining bushcraft

I think that the intersection of the "Natural materials" set and the "Nylon" set should be empty.
