    Raffia for natural cordage

    Ive just bought a bag of "natural garden raffia" from Wilkinsons for 1.29 seems okay to practise natural cordage skills on a cold night ive plaited a length and it seems quite strong . I know I should forage my own but it seems a good way to learn. :)

    Ashdown Forest

    Can anyone recomend a walk or route as Ive never been to Ashdown Forest Ive got transport and I want to let the dogs off as much as possible. A cirular walk from a parking area would be nice to save backtracking. It does not matter how far as Ive got all day and dont have to be back early. :)

    Kit Carson neck knife
