    you'd be VERY warm dude, but it would work. i've got a buffalo (very similar) and only ever needed it on its own so far, and even that get to hot.

    was out on my checks the other week (been hiking, hence the delay) and something in one of the fields caught my eye. a quick jog, and 5 min's picking later... quite a result, i was chuffed to nuts!

    yup, i've got one in my kit. its heavy, but i'd back it to do nigh on anything. it holds an edge well and has never let me down. inshort i'm impressed with it and its always in my kit when i go out n about. hope that helps
