. I recently picked up an old Kent pattern axe, at a flea market, and it has a what I assume is a makers mark, that looks a lot like the old Armitage Shanks monogram (AS) with the word England underneath.
Any ideas on a maker, or if it was just a company axe from the Armitage store room?
