A different kind of carving

Here's something I've never seen before: carved feathers. Definitely different than the usual carvings most folks seem to do.
I like them though, unique! Nice idea.

Nice looking images it would be nice to have a bit of background on who made them or where you came across them. I always like to credit my sources of inspiration let's give the credit where it is due.

Good point. I stumbled across an ad on a buy/sell Canada wide website called Kijiji http://saskatchewan.kijiji.ca/

The poster of the ad lives in a small native community named Canoe Narrows http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canoe_Narrows,_Saskatchewan
Here's a copy of the ad. I assume it's okay to post it as the person is publicly selling these. I don't know the name of the person who makes these as the only information given is what's in the ad.

I made one of these last night, the wood wasn't the best for it, but I'm happy how it turned out and I enjoyed it, definitely going to have a go a more in the future.
