Went out to this site, an ancient dwelling, a few days ago.

It's situated near the M9, at Torwood. An ancient royal hunting forrest.

I have sited a geocache here and prefer to walk in via the smallpath.
It's a beautiful forrest untouched in places.

Panoramic of Broch, a bit bracken overgrown but it's over 6 ft high, the walls, all around and two different entrances. A really mystical place I think.

When up here again, today. Pity my Geocache has been muggled and taken off line.

I was at the Jupiter WIldlife Centre, before going up to Torwood. Lots of these dragonflies (?) about on the
ponds.

Someone has been nibbling, a rabbit or squirrel ?

Lots of bees about, before hibernation soon.

Unfortuantley some horse riders have been using the singletrack. It is not sustainable with this use and has
become badly eroded. Under the SOAC this is illegal damage to a path like this.

Lovely sky views today.

The bridge is also for pond dipping either side. The 'Jupiter Urban Wildlife' centre is reclaimed waste ground right in the middle of the petro chemical area in Grangemouth. It os really peacful and a great wee spot.

Torwood is really speical, especially if you goto the Broch and there is no one there, quite surreal.
