Mmm 1 post and it's derogatory. Some of us work all hours in the day (feels like it), and some of us have met up via other means without needing to post on here.
How about introducing yourself instead of registering and nit-picking.

good old flint and steel does the trick tho lol

How do guys,

Im just trawling the forums whilst on nightshift, Im from just outside of Darlington, ive not had that much experience of wild camping etc just bought all the gear after buying my canadian canoe earlier this year and now hooked! I was hoping to see some activity in the area for meeting like minded people but as with most of England finding suitable locations are a mission. Perks of having a canoe is that its easy to hide away on the banks of the river. Shame ya have to. My background in the outdoors is mainly fishing (all types) but specialise in shore angling and fished for england (juniors) several times back in the day. Also studied gamekeeping and then onto wildlife management and now work with nightmare kids, strange how stuff works out. i work 2 on 2 off so ive plenty of time. If any meets do come up ill definitly be up for coming to gain and learn a few tricks. Im hoping to do a bit of winter hammocking soon but itll have to be on my own, my mates think ive lost the plot but it beats sitting in the pub (sometimes). Anyway hope something pops up in the new year.

Regards Chris
