Army Surplus in London

Anyone know of a good surplus store in the city

I guess Silverman's is the biggest. It's not quite in the Square Mile though.

There aren't many, some in the outskirts, but not many in Central London. There's Silvermans in East London but they mainly sell new kit. The only others I've used have since closed down

There's a quite a few of them in suburban areas but they can take a bit of time to get to and cost quite a bit in tube fares.

There's one in North Finchley for example but the closest tube station is Woodside Park in Zone 4 and it's a bout a ten minute walk from there.

I've been to the Kilburn shop and wasn't that impressed with it.

Yes some of them aren't so good. Dan's is okay. There was a really good one somewhere that I've been in Greater London but I can't for the life of me remember where it was. They were in a side street just off the main road and they had loads of stuff out on the pavement.
