Well I got a GERBER FREEMAN EXCHANGE-A-BLADE in the post today

Gerber-Freeman-Exchange-A-Blade-22-07195-600x500.jpg

(for using an image of the gerber
website not had time to take my own)

The one with the drop point, boning blade and saw blade.

I am well impressed with the feel of the knife and have not had time to play yet with it yet but I thing the sheath needs some work.

To be honest
it a bit daft. It take the knife with the drop point in the back and then are are two taylored
slots for the boner and saw, and here in lies the problem.

  • So you want to use use saw or boning blade, where do you put the drop point blade?
  • So you are going canoeing and you want it ready to use with the saw blade as emergency saw. Well where do you put the drop point blade? O' and it will not fit correctly in the back with the saw blade in.
  • So you want to use the boning blade. Well where do you put the drop point blade (spotted a trend yet ;) ) O' if you want to sheath it between jobs it will not fit correctly in the back with the boning blade in.
Me thinks that I have a leather project in the future :D
