Hi all I lost my DMT field sharpening kit last weekend so before I take the plunge and spend £100 replacing them I thought I'd ask here.
A set of diamond stones required, any DMT 4" considered or folding handle type ( that's what I lost).

Man that sucks. Sorry, I don't have any spare. I hope you don't mind me suggesting an alternative. If you are open to things other than DMT, one possible option is the diamond/adhesive sheets from Axminster. 100mm x 200mm x 0.4mm, can be had on 240, 400 and 1000 grit. I got the 400 to replace the diamond on an old DC4. Happy so far. Not cheap at £18.60 a sheet, but cheaper than DMT, with the option of making multiple hones. I know you could knock up a double sided 25 x 100 hone on a bit of Micarta or similar board.

I have a spare Diafold extra fine, extra extra fine that may have been used lightly once.

If interested give me a shout

Cheers Baz
