Prefered it when it was at Folkestone race course as it had its own train station and pretty quick links to London

Tebds to stick to ww2 and beyond

Military Odyssey is also worth a visit - it'll be in August and included more periods

I haven't been since it was at the hop farm but you used to be able to get such bargains. I've only just finished trickling out the minty Millbank bags I got straight off the bail for a quid a pop.

I'd save up all year and splurge it all in a day or two. Usually herself came with the car but one year I had to cross London to get to the station back north with a Bren wrapped in binliners in each hand and a No. 5 rifle also in a binliner strapped to the outside of a huge stuffed Bergan with me cackling like a loon. Wasn't stopped once but got some funny looks.....
