If I was to purchase a knife from Canada/ USA at £300 how much would I have to pay the posty before I got it ??

I ordered a knife from Mitch Mitchell of Native Survival fame and I think it cost about 15 quid in tax!!

I bought a mod SAK from Brasswerx
It’s fantastic, however the price of the
Knife and post was v exe, but I was shocked when they tried to deliver I had to pay another £58 this was customs PLUS theVAT.
Totally unacceptable really.:(
I have bought so many thing from the U.S. ( because you can’t get it here)!!!
And have never paid soo much.
From now on I will have it brought over. Grrrrrrrr

Import duty and tax often stops me buying from abroad, it's just too much of a hit on top of postage. I get it to a large degree but it's hard going when there are things not sold in this country. I looked at a bike saddle from Canda recently, couldn't do it after import and tax...
