Many thanks Steve for allowing us 2 weekends on the trot in the woods.


Our old communal area had several widow makers in and around and it was easier to move to a new spot then remove them

A new area was chosen and only one branch need to be removed, of course it was in an easy position:

Brambles were cleared:

New firepits dug:

Wood split

Transported easily:

Restacked in it's new home:

And the fire pit christened:

New area completed:

Great storyboard Martin and thanks for the pics.

Many thanks to those that turned out at short notice and put the effort in, especially in this heatwave! What we now have is a lovely new communal area in the shade of several Beech trees with minimal disruption to the existing Flora. The woodpile has been replenished and prepared for the next meet (end of August) and some accumulated debris dumped.
