Thanks to all I I have most of the project Gutenberg ones, I am looking for more modern ones like bushcraft 101 etc every site I try and download is either advert or virus ridden, will try the above sites,cheers.

You'll find the more modern ones are still under copyright so the only versions you'll get will be pirated versions and as you've found out carry a lot 'hidden issues' with them...
