Nice little setup mate, amazing when ya cut the crap what you can do with. Can't see it on mine but I have a USGI mug and stove nested inside the bottle pouch... I don't really need the pouch, just keeps the soot and crap off
my bag till I clean it properly lol.

Thanks, I seriously thought about using my bimble kit for a superlight overnighter in the summer. All that needs to be added is a packet of sausages and a blanket! I'm not entirely sure why I didn't go through with it. Maybe something to do next year.

I guessed you'd have a mug nested in with the bottle (is there much differrence between a US and Dutch bottle?). I sometimes swap out the kettle for the dutch army mug

For a walk around local woods / park I have a regatta packable 25l bag, containing,

water [at least 500ml]
couple of apples, maybe pears & oranges
hammock
tarp
water proofs
hat & gloves
pencils
5p plastic bags
dog poo bags / nappy bags
wood gas stove
12cm billy can inc packet rice/pasta, cup a soup, tea & coffee
large insulated cup
small insulated cup
2 sets of cutlery
bit of cloth to hold hot things
meth spirits
fire lighting kit
sometimes my mora [not often though]
frizbee
sticky velcro ball catch game
tennis balls and rackets
shuttle cock and rackets

I'll usually have the kids with me so having things to play with, to make a game and have a laugh is important.

It wouldn't take much more to make it into an overnight kit :) although the regatta pack straps are a bit pants, so I'm working on a method to attach it to a yoke set I've got lying around.
