Hi, first post so hopefully right way right place!
I am making a ferro rod holder for a friend who has the LMF army 2 model.

I have researched this and the spec on the lmf sight states it is about 16mm wide. Look elsewhere and it is about 10mm.
Any one know the current specs. I am aware the older version was smaller but 16 mm seems very large by comparison.
I also know that the scout is smaller. Just wondering weather other sites are passing off the scout as the army model?

Welcome aboard Rflw

10mm sounds right for the diameter of the rod itself, whereas 16mm sounds like it refers to the size of the handle.

Though I could be wrong

Looks like the actual size including the handle, hence the different height/width measures. I'm away at the moment or I would measure it for you (I have the firesteel, just no tape!)
