I have for swap a genuine British army issue Bergen. This is the long back version with approx capacity of 100ltrs. It’s in great condition (in surplus terms I’d call it Grade 1) with no rips or obvious signs of wear and all zips, buckles and toggles in full working order. This Bergen has also been modified at some point as it also features a chest strap. Note that it doesn’t include the side pouches – I didn’t bother getting these because I felt 100litres of space would be more than enough. Indeed, I’m reluctantly offloading this backpack simply because it’s a little on the large side for my needs.
I will happily swap this pack for a smaller backpack (40-50ltrs would be ideal), top of my wish list would be a NI Patrol pack (genuine issue) in a similarly good (grade 1) condition.
