Wee axe bag sewing prodject, almost done.

Been playing around with the new sewing machine today and put this together for carrying my saw and axe...






Still got all the finnishing touched to add. Needs a couple of button holes stitched in, a coat of wax or two and was thinking of adding a pocket for my sharpening cards.

Turned out a little better than I was expecting. Pretty easy project to get me used to the sewing machine.

Thanks, Im thinking of making some bone buttons for it but not sure yet.

It's the Hultafors Classic Trekking axe, Its awesome, keeps an edge real well. I wasn't an axe fan before I got it.

Got some buttons and the button holes a sewn up and its almost done, just needs waxed and some cordage for the straps.
