I just finished a couple short control dog leads, I am thinking of making full length leads but I cant seem to find any chains with trigger hooks attached. I was wandering if anyone knows where I can them? All I seem to find is full leads with a handle attached.

The only other option I can think of is buying chain and attaching it to the trigger hook with quick links but that doesn't look too good. Any ideas?

Thanks for looking,

Gary

Why not use a different knot which lengthens more quickly; round sennit, say, for the length between handloop and hook.Lends itself to multicolour and is easy to splice.

I Gary. I used to do this and had a mate weld some rings closed with chair and hook on. It's pretty basic welding.

Thats what I'm thinking now. Going to ask a friend to weld it for me. All the ones I can find are about £10 + so I think welding the the links will be a better idea. Just a bit worried it will weaken it. (don't know anything about welding)

Thanks
Gary
