Evening all,
I actually signed up here for a specific purpose (I'm after a fungus) but after spending a while browsing the forum I'm glad I signed up. There's more than enough here to keep me reading and learning. I'm a 44 year old father of two young children and although I wouldn't call myself 'outdoorsy' (whatever that means), I certainly like the outdoors. Whether it be mountain biking or just walking the dog. I would say that like too many people these days my knowledge of nature is sorely lacking, there are so many trees, plants and birds I can't even name. Hopefully if I hang around here long enough I can change that.
