That's right the coatings are all the same just different colours but I would say the green colour shows the wear less as I have a black Esee 5 and a Green Esee 3 which shows the marks less.

I have a green ESEE3 that has doesn't look too damaged despite a lot of use.

I know a lot of people who use Nitromors to remove it altogether because it tends to make the knife stick a bit in the cut.

Well I finally gave in.And I'm now the owner of a esee '' izula'',I went for the Green colour option in the end,Not the zombie green tho,it arrived yesterday,But it looks and feels a user.

Had mine for a couple of years now and love it to bits.
Mine has the pale grey coating and shows no sign of wear at all and has seen some heavy use.
