Bushman I still have the plans on my external hard drive I can send you them if you want a copy I also have plans for a treadle band saw well it's more a reciprocating saw using a section of bandsaw blade

|I remember coming of Kinder, 13 years ago and you watching you work whilst standing in the rain. I'll always remember that you said to seal tableware with veg oil. keep up the good work chap.

I do live and work a very nice spot it's true and I never ever take it for granted. It was wonderful out there today in the spring sunshine. Folk often see pole lathes and start going on about treadle lathes and other ways of changing the reciprocal motion into circular motion. The simple fact is that pole lathes work faster and more efficiently than treadle lathes. You never hear folk complaining how inefficient hammers, saws or axes are because of the reciprocal motion.
