It's all over now. In the end I made 133 inches. The prize therefore - by a narrow margin - goes to Kepis. Thanks to you all for taking part and for all of your great comments.

I hand twisted the whole length from nettles harvested earlier in the year. I find that, for me, hand twisting makes for a stornger cord. I'll follow up with pictures later but I've got washing up to do....
