That would be great ! We will be popping up to Giants Seat one evening as we are booked both weekends , I havent been to that campsite since I was a kid so will be fun to pop along and say hi to the guys :)

I forgot to mention I will be bringing a parachute down to put up as a communal shelter , I imagine I wont be alone , however if anyone has one large enough to go over the fire circle and are willing for it to be used then please let me know :) Cheers Bob

As it is approaching the time for the Middlewood Halloween bash ( I know its a couple of months but I get excited easily) I decided to publish the usual rules and to outlay some ideas. We will have a "Jacobs join" again this year , this is a communal feast provided by members for members :)...

Got mine in Desert camo and CrabAir and must say its a nice comfey jacket and excellent value for the price , now to find a nice cold beach or big crowd of Brylcreamers to blend in with :D

Hi Jim , A Jacobs Join is a quaint phrase used in Lancashire ( and bits of the place across the pennines) to describe a party where everybody contributes to a communal food table and then all eat off the table like a giant "Bring and Buffet" but with a Halloween theme :) Hope this helps Bob
