    Whats your oldest kit

Not speaking for anyone else, I don't consider my stuff old, just the oldest kit I have. Despite running the woods with a pocket knife making dens and camping out as a kid, it wasn't until getting out the army (97) I had dedicated bushcraft gear which was (at the time) mostly demob stuff and...

What are your favourite pocket knives?

Daily Carries are Victorinox Camper or Spartan or sometimes Imperial Shrade Mini Sodbuster. Bushcraft Carries are Victorinox Forester, German Army knife (clone) or Opinel 8. I've been rotating the above for more years than I care to think of.

Obesity has only really been an issue the last 20-30yrs, we've been farming a tad longer than that. The modern obesity issue is down to multiple factors, ultra processes foods, lack of exercise and greed being the most prevalent.

    Hi I’m new to bushcraft

A good place to start: https://www.eattheweeds.com/ They also have a YouTube channel no equipment needed just common sense, start with what you know and work up. Ensure to positively i.d. keep your eyes open for courses (sometimes locally we used to get free ones).
