    BREWERS PITCH in UK.

We used to use it years ago for leather tankards and bottles. I believe it's not available anymore as it doesn't conform to modern food hygiene standards. Don't think Gum Rosin is even similar. We use beeswax now, you just have to re wax it now and then. However brewers pitch used to crack and...

Endurance -Race to the Poles with Ben Fogle and Dwayne Fields

I made Ben's knife, belt and lanyard. I also made some goggles that were historically correct as opposed to the ones used. However they were delayed in transit down there and didn't make the filming.

    The Wilderness Gathering

Just to clarify, it is the weekend before bank holiday 17th-20th August. Those planning to camp in the woods should book soon as there are limited spots in there and a lot are already taken. Roger

    Firesteel recommendation

We ship them worldwide but unfortunately there is no such thing as reasonable shipping costs these days. Postage is what it is and our rates are charged at cost. To be honest with the Strikefires you'd get better value with the shipping ordering more than a single one.

    Firesteel recommendation

I have had plenty of success with fire pistons over the years, however they seem to function better in hotter drier climates such as mid west USA, deserts and indoors at home with the heating on. I had a perspex one made to prove the theory in perfect conditions and our none too scientific...

Missing my Defender, what do you miss?

Oddly I'm in one of those moods to sell my Defender at the moment. I've never gelled with this one as it replaced the last one I built and put a lot of my ideas into. TD5 power is awesome though. Last one was stolen, so getting this one was a bitter pill.

    Withdrawn Bison Bushcraft Nessmuk Sack

This was probably back in 2007 or so.

    Withdrawn Bison Bushcraft Nessmuk Sack

Good for you, I was almost tempted to buy it back as I never got to keep one. The previous Frost River company went under whilst we were dealing with them and we never got our last batch of those and the bushcraft pack in.

Are we buying more or less stuff?

    Know that feeling

    Size up or size down?

We have this as constant problem with our sizing. It amazes me as to how many people have no idea what their measurements are or how to measure themselves. We put as much information on the webpages as possible relating to what your chest size is and what to order to help people get the right...

    A Studio Workshop

Glad its working out and drawing out the moisture rather than your stock acting like blotting paper as there's nothing harder to get out than the smell of mould on your kit.

    A Studio Workshop

Have you tried a de-humidifier? I've used the cheap ones as well as rentals from tool hire companies and they certainly do the job. It would be a great shame if all you kit and materials absorbed the moisture and went mouldy.

    Day Out Great escape jump

Are you serious? I have ridden trials and enduros for many years and rebuilt and ridden several German WW2 military bikes. In my opinion you couldn't get an R75 to jump off a kerb let alone over twelve feet of fencing.
