How much do I need to spend to get something decent

I need a good set of waterproofs. I want to avoid camo otherwise I would get an army surplus set. is gortex still the one to go for? any recommendations will be very welcome

Many items on the outlays website seem to be unavailable. I recently bought a canvas tarp from them but their product line seems to be reducing. Does anyone have any info about this company. Is it just a stock issue or are they changing their product line.

i guess it is mostly marketing trying to get you to pay big bucks for a simple bottle

ive seen a few things warning of leching of chemicals in water from the water bottles. BPA beig the most prevalent one mentioned. it is really an issue if the water is only in the bottle for short periods (ie 48 hours)

what type of water bottles do you normally carry and why did you choose that particular type. And how much water do you carry

i just bought some loop aliens to try they seem very adaptable but a bit fiddly to use at first but gets much easyer with practice

I just got a new tarp and it is the first one I have had that does not have brass eyelets. It only has sewn in webbing tie out points. will a single loop of paracord start to cut through this over time or are they plenty strong enough. how to you attach paracord to a loop like this?

cheers I will give them a try. I have a couple of budget tents that just have a small piece of bent metal or plastic as tensioners. they seem to work but I never really liked them or trusted them

police do have powers to deal with incidents that fall short of a full prosecution and involvement of the CPS. They may confiscate items or issue a police caution. But I get your point
