Update on this Dormouse I rescued (January 2015 #2515 this thread). She was put with a male in the Wildwood captive breeding program. They had a litter of 4. All 4 are undergoing health checks before being being released back to the wild later this year. The plan is for a reintroduction release...

As for the mole cricket The eyes don't look like compound eyes on my pictures
If it is I assume it the parasitic one I have forgotten the name of. It came up from nothing in about 10 days

Yes it is a Dormouse & yes a licence is required. However it was all legal :deal:with a happy ending. ( To my relief as it was just a judgment call) It started when I saw a mouse.
Sam (in the chainsaw trousers) was told not to move so we could take photos. Waste of time as the mouse happily...

This one is in the woods. in The RBSB Blean reserve. This makes 4 sizable Wild service. 2 are together & have various little one clustered around them. Suckered up from the roots I imagine.
One other little one no where near any known parent plant. I like to dream this one came up from seed.
