    More modest bushcraft knife suggestions

Very nice. Excellent joinery also. My thoughts- Top drawer- second knife; nice and slim and pointy. fourth and sixth knives; great overall shape with not too many lumps and bumps (Enzo?) Second drawer. 6th (loveless?) handle and blade line up straight. Beautiful. 7th and 9th...

I have thought about it and the knife looks great but a little small.

    More modest bushcraft knife suggestions

Thank you Johnny boy. The second blade up looks awesome. My preference would be for a fuller more barrel shaped handle on the bottom but generally speaking the full tank puukko is the right idea. Something in between the woodlore and the neck knife size.

It would be the most obvious choice. I just wanted to see what other options I have and how to go about making a custom to my specs.

    More modest bushcraft knife suggestions

I guess I am expecting about 50 - 100 quid but that includes the possibility of sheath and handle being self build. Of course, if something grabs my attention I may save up.

    More modest bushcraft knife suggestions

Hi all, I own an Enzo trapper (SS, self build). I like the overall feel and ergonomics and it is a very good quality knife. But I think the Scandi grind is too abrupt (especially near the tip) and I want something a bit lighter that can be carried around the neck and also Baldric style. In...

    Warriors tactical shoulder/manbag

Hi there. I am looking to buy one of those at the moment. Would you sell? PM sent.

Kit bag, work bag, man bag thing needed!

Thanks for the link to the pakoma. I like it but I want one with no padding. It may be just a silly personal preference but i want less bulk and fuss to the bag. I guess that is why the Fjallraven shoulder bag looks so tempting. It is also a more compact size. I found the belstaff website but...

Kit bag, work bag, man bag thing needed!

I had thought of the 45l version but the 30l actually looks more appropriate. Sticking on a couple of molle util or bottle pouches would be an advantage. I think that with all the ideas I have been offered I am a bit clearer in the head. A compact man bag and a fairly roomy daysack is in order...

Kit bag, work bag, man bag thing needed!

Oh dear. I have just seen the Karrimor predator. It is slightly bigger in the main compartment but it has all the features I was thinking about putting on the munro. Molle loops galore, side pouch attachments (65l is a lot of kit) and pockets at the bottom on the side to put the axe head in to...

Kit bag, work bag, man bag thing needed!

Hi all Thank you for the replies. Out of all of that lot Ihave a lot of ideas now. The Berghaus Munro looks like a lovely piece of kit. The reason I kept away from daysacks is because I have 3 and they are all rubbish. The one I kept from the army was the one that most recruits buy as it is the...

Kit bag, work bag, man bag thing needed!

Hi all. I am looking for a general bag to cover a few basics. I am still not exactly sure what type of bag I need but any help or ideas is appreciated. I will just list my requirements and see what you all think. Main uses: - Work. Teacher. I take in food, water bottle, diary...

    Bushcraft club - help!

I hope they were trying to pull your leg. Otherwise, I think they are a bunch of sad and rather pathetic people. As a teacher myself I would give you this as a reply to them. If having a word so tediously linked to a vag1na is a problem for their behaviour management, then maybe they need to get...

    Second starter

Hi all. I am not technically new to the forum but I would like to introduce myself as a newbie. For many reasons I have decided to develop some form of bushcraft and I am putting out the feelers. I have always been interested in being outdoors and remember my brother's original copy of the SAS...
