Singeblister,

Yes please, Thank you very much, most kind. I have a bad knee and a broken arm but I am sure we will manage somehow.:)
LOL oh well plenty of friends knockin about to help us with a bit of luck, The bigest problem will be me remembering to bring the stuff.
I recently went to see the guy who fixed my leg as it was giving me a bit of jip and he recomended I have it amputated , that was a bit of a shock i can tell ya , going to see another guy just before the meet for a 2nd opinion, but I am sure I will still have both my legs for the meet either way :D

Singeblister,

Dont take him to serious, that's doctor speak for stop moaning.

I say it to the little un when he falls over and cries,,,,,,, "quick get in the shed and get me saw and I'll cut it off for you".

On a more upbeat note, Mr O'Mally at Warrington is one of the top five orthopedic knee surgeons in the country. If he cant fix it its broke for good.

I have got a few bits of spring steel to **** about with, nice and clean square bar. we are getting there slowly but surely.
I have anealed some steel for people to use got about 8 blades worth of 4 - 5 mm land rover spring cut up , also some band saw blades people can make crook knives out of if they so wish just come ask me for a bit , I will also try to remember to bring some files and hammers . Barny do you want this piece of train track ? its quite badly pitted, or should I just bring the fork lift truck tines, I will try and chop them into smaler bits before middlewood , it takes a few hours for my saw to get through them though lol

Hope the leg gets sorted ok John. Theres another top knee chap at Derby DRI if you need another opinion.
You were right about bone grafts off pelvis, was worse than having all the metal put back in leg a second time.
I'm getting stick making bug again, if I was comin to meet that would be my project probably.

Yeh hurts a wee bit when you wake up doesnt last to long though , hope yours is sorted this time Paul , shame you cant come to the meet , cant you drive ? or just cant make it.
Its not my knee thats the problem it seems a section of tibia has died its a section which wouldnt heal and had lots of problems with infection as you know , its either the dead bone or all the bits of steel in there that are causing my problems , choices now are lose it below knee or eat antibiotics every day to keep it under controll, I will see what this next bloke has to say and take it from there anyway.

Singblister,

I will have both please if that is ok, I have just spent two hours hammering on the back of a vice and its ****e, Three strikes and the light is out.

On the other hand, when I was having my elbow done four weeks ago there was a chap across from me who had been in hospital a WHOLE YEAR, he had a bone infection in a hip replacement op, they couldnt cut it off, he told me that they had found a hole they could get both fists in . he was on the mend though and was looking forward to goin home. He was 72. You should respond a lot better at your age.

Re the Coke, how many bags should I get?:0

The fela seys its called coalbright or something will that be ok?

I did 3 years in hospital , but they did let me out for a weekend on my birthday and crimbo, it was infection that caused my problems that and the 7 compound fractures and a shaterd ankle joint I got mrsa and was on a drip for about 9 month before it finaly went away , but it then went into some other kind of infection , its a real long story.

Just get that coalbright then mate , I dont know how big the bags are just get what you think couple of bags might do it , I will bring you the track and and the fork steel , its 4140 steel nice and springy and it makes a nice ring when forging on it :)
