Looking to put an additional fixed blade into my kit and am looking for suggestions, currently use a mora clipper and mora classic for my hunting and overnighters and its a great blade for its price. Just want something different with possibly a bulkier handle and man enough to to split wood for the hobo stove. Loads out there at good prices but I don't want to buy cheap tat I'm after inexpensive quality.

Cheers.

I not really fixed on a price but would like to keep it as low as poss. I have a tendency to buy loads of kit so if the missus asks "how much?" each one sounds cheap and she doesn't total it up.

Ideally £25 and under but if there is a really good buy at a fair bit more I don't take much convincing. If I have the kit I have the excuse to get out more

I posted this in "What did you buy today" section.

It is cheap, it is not tat, bulkier handle than the Mora, and it is the heavy duty GK version, should do exactly what you have described you want it to do.
Check out online reviews.

Hultafors GK, not very pretty to look at but a heavy duty knife for £5.26 including sheath and postage. I'm pleased with it.
