hey up all, well im back from Afghanistan and have got my wonderful, a .22 CZ 452 with the short barell ( 16 inches ). I opted for a new rifle in the end and payed £511 for the rifle moderator and 500 rounds, I thought it was a good deal...

many thanks.

chris.

Glad you are back safe. Nice rifle, does the shorter barrel affect velocity ?

Rob

i would think not, as it is used for the most part with subsonic rounds it should make no difference, the maximum range i would think would be around 80 yards, but if all else fails i can always get some HP or VHP ammo, but TBH i dont think that will ever happen, its just for bunnies so all is good, the ammo box states 1050 ish FPS of the top of my head, my shotgun ammo is around 1400-1500 in comparison, and an air rifle which is what i have been using is 12 PSI, so the .22 will more than do the job on bunnies, all depends on how good a shot you are, wind and weather conditions at the time etc etc etc.

very much looking forward to giving her a good trial run though...:)

Good to hear that you're back okay.

Never mind shooting stuff, I want to see you nail making fire from totally foraged materials and natural cordage!

Welcome back, great rifle and a great re-entrance, the 452's are an absolute joy (maybe she will need a trigger fix) i have a pair in HMR & LR, sold my old one to get the HMR and missed it so much i now have both. Potent medicine for Coney and Charlie.
