I want to take my 10 yr old for a night in the woods anybody got any ideas where to go in the s lakes area,Thanks.

Try Broughton Moor - Grid Reference: SD 249 924 or if you don't go Grid Ref's take the Torver to Broughton-In-Furness road in that direction and there's a tiny lane - Broughton Moor SHOULD be signposted. There are a couple of parking spots along the side of the wood and a short walk will have you concealed. Beware though, it's pretty hilly, and dense in places. Do some exploring during the daytime first of all and you should be able to find some nice flat spots here and there. If you are taking a hammock or two - you won't need a flat spot!

the land in this country belongs to it's people, none of it belongs to the Forestry Commission, National Trust etc their Corporation's that really exist, unless you consent to stand under their authority. Have fun and be free ! :)

Unfortunately, it's about as likely to convince a magistrate as turning up to the hearing naked and claiming they've got your name and address wrong as you're actually the reincarnation of Lady Godiva.

And as we know all to well, magistrates take a dim view of people turning up at court with their geniatlia on show.

Possibly apart from my friend Beth, but I am only guessing.

Well, she is the doctor who got changed behind her car door, in the churchyard at my wedding. You were there. It did happen.

Now a magistrate in her spare time, and yes, I imagine she's already seen it all, so has become a magistrate in order to hear it all.
