Hello all, about time i started my own thread for once and now that i have the time here I am, while working at my new employed they supply Regatta Outdoor Clothing, i'll post hte link momentarily. I would just like your thoughts of on the products they have to offer, the quality of the goods is very hight to what i have seen but if interests are keen I might start supply these products with custom bushcraft logo's / signitures on the left chest pocket as my work does this for hi vis jackets and jargen like that, I am in the prosess of making my survival website live and just wondered on people thoughts of having a survival logo, my been The Survivalists (logo yet to be decided).
If you have any ideas please let me know or if you are interested all the better. The regtta site is www.regetta.com and because I work for a supplier i can get cheeper orders but it would cost a little bit more to have custom logos ect on the product.

I do not have any personal experience of regatta clothing, but i did read somewhere recently, that Bill Oddie and the BBC Springwatch team chose regatta clothing for the show.

Have had a few pairs of the action trousers, and have found them to be reasonably hard wearing, also got some good buys on the base layers from yeomans, so i think its not bad stuff for the price.

I buy three or four pairs of regatta trousers every year, I like them. I do take off the side pocket though as I think it makes them look too military like.

I have tried Craghoppers and Rohan and do not like them in comparison.

As a point to note, Royal Military Police Close Protection teams used to officially receive Regatta trousers and vests. The principles of which are now copied by 5.11 and many more manufacturers, IMHO.

So they don't last then? Or are you giving them a particularly hard time?

They are what I wear day in, day out.......the sandy beige coloured ones.

I normally keep the new ones for smart 'ish wear and after a year they get relegated to be worn when doing my house renovations......they get destroyed by general building wear and tear, paint, plaster, cement, sealant and general plumbing muck.

I used to wear the blue ones when I did plumbing and heating work for customers, I still have some of those knocking around.

They are reasonably robust, I like them - no matter what SHMBO says and at £11.00 a pair they are damned good value for money..........I know where the Rohan discount shop is and where a Craggies outlet used to be, I just don't like them.

I have bought several pairs of Regatta trousers over the years. They were of good style, but, I am afraid to say the zip stopped working on all of them within a year which was the main reason I bought another pair.

I've also bought several sleeveless body warmer jackets, the ones with lots of pockets. Again I'm afraid to say it was always the zip that would go first. I also found that new designs were being brought out regularly and was a little disappointed that the newer designs seem to have less pockets in them or lacked that favourite breast pocket where my mobile phone fitted perfectly. Also noticed the material was getting thinner and more prone to ripping.

Other than that I must say I do tend to look over the Regatta products in the shop I frequent and buy them occasionally if the price is right (cheap). I would not put them into the top quality products list though, just about making it to the medium quality products list.
