I thought the box was bigger too!
Very nice though. I've got the bits to put a kit like that together myself but would love the nice box to keep it all together in.

I've a, non Bialetti, stove top coffee maker that I can never decide weather to take or not. Kelly kettle or billy providing the hot water for an Aeropress usually does the trick. That's a beautiful little set though.

Its just a simple box made from scraps lay about my garage, It was pure luck that all the bits fitted in, in the end drink involved. whilst trying to make it as small as possible, As I was building it I too thought it was bigger. Originally the parts were arranged differently more spread out not as tightly packed.... a happy accident, at one point I thought I had made it too small. Funny story drink involved again the final arrangement parts fit in perfectly box complete... after first time using it when packing away couldn't get the sliding lid to shut.... before I used it it had been packed & unpacked a dozen times & there had always been 1/8th" clearance above that cup, I tried for ages same lay out...in out back in, long story short it turns out one cup is smaller by 1/8th" of an inch than the other 2 height wise who would have thought? the same cup I had obviously quite by chance done all my measuring with, took me ages to puzzle it out... any way thanks guys...

That is a beautiful bit of work and perfect that it all fits so snuggly. You must have thought you were going mad when it wouldn't fit back in! What were the chances the one cup would be just that bit smaller - still it means you got the measurements spot on.

cheers mate, probably More by chance than design it's functional but pretty rough really on close inspection just glued & roughly nailed together, surprised my self on how it's almost perfectly square though, I think its probably the squarest box I have ever built the design changed drastically half way through I had ditched the idea altogether, probably as I thought it to be a bad design, I started building it over a year ago, I had made the base of the box & had cut 3 sides then gave up on it, it was originally over twice as tall to start with, I am chuffed with it now that it's finally finished. its strange the crazy ideas you can come up with whilst getting drunk in the garden on a summers day .... any who thanks....
