I blame Ozhaggishead for posting http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34930this tutorial.
When I first saw it, I thought "I can do that! ". Well it's been a long time coming but I finally got it done. This was my first attempt at making something like this. I learned a lot on the way.
There's three different types of thread and a variety of stitching methods. Most of the leather came from a skip outside the local pub when they were refurbishing.
I tweaked the design by adding a dangler in case I want to wear it lower. The toggle I turned from a bit of laburnum.
