I always wondered, if you caught a rabbit/hare/animal and planned to eat it in the woods, what would be the technique used for decontaminating your hands & knife after gutting and/or prepping the meat so you don't get food poisoning ?

LOL. I think he knows that BR. But if hot water isn't readily availabe, even cold water with an antibacterial soap is good. Or alcohol pads.

I have washed my hands with moss after prepping game (pigeons) and I've never gotten ill after that. But then again, you don't gut pigeons.
