Most of the hydration bladders are only about 3 liters or 3 1/2 liters or so. And those requie a supension system if not fitted into a ruck. About the largest independent canteens I've seen are usually only half what you're looking for.

On the other hand, the first three in this link come close at 4 quarts (presumably US quarts which are close but slightly less than liters) to fit your requirements (I've only ever seen this type in 2 quart but these advertize 4 quart size) www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=4+quart+canteen and have a less military design.
