Today I went out to practice making deadfall traps. Took my knife and SAK and went out. The first I wanted to practice was this: http://i.timeinc.net/fieldstream/images_small/os_twostick.jpg
Made it exactly as the picture says. Succeded!! :biggthump :biggthump :super:
Next I wanted to try was a 'promontory peg', which is a deadfall made of 1 single stick. The pictures are near the bottom of this page: http://www.bill-hay.com/Lake.htm
It also succeded!!

BUT........... There's always a 'but'! When I tried to make a figure-4 deadfall, I didn't succed.....! 
But found out later that I had made a mistake... I'm sure it works next time! :biggthump
Tomorrow it's a camp gadget and cooking over fire...! Wait and see.
