I wonder if anyone can help me on this?
I'm looking to get a few friends and families (all ages) together for a sociable come paddling/camping weekend somewhere south of the Lakes, north of the M4, between Oxford and Wales.
So I'm hunting for a simple farm type friendly campsite which edges onto a safe river/lake so people can try paddling, but then chill out in the campsite/woods afterwards?
Basic is better than loads of facilities. Toilets and shower would be ideal and that about it.
Any suggestions or guidance would be appreciated. I know a lot of farm camping sites, but I have limited knowledge of those with water nearby.
A long shot, but any suggestions appreciated.
