rushed first knife

Hi, This is a pic of my first attempt at a knife. Unfortunately I think I got a bit out of my depth and ended up rushing it. Anyway her it is. Hope this works

Thanx very much, you'll have to excuse this newbie, but I am trying. I would be grateful for any comments although I feel like a minnow in a barrel of whale's.
(ie amatuer to experts) Dont want to offend anyone on my first day.

Thanx for the comments. To tell you the truth I was half expecting someone to tell me to give up. the biggest problem Ihad was I couldn't get the reindeer antler cut into nice straight pieces. Going by my first pic I suppose It could be mistaken for a claymore. I sort of bodged the leather as well wasn't sure about stitching so riveted the lot. Ah Well Full tang next time.

he dont worry about the sheath it looks ok and it works.and you made it yourself thats what you have to be rightly proud about. anyway I know a woman thats 41 and she cant sew a button on in fact she wouldnt even try!!
