I finished my first knife last week and a sheath to go with it. The sheath is wet-molded and beeswax hardened the Eric Methevden paint and bake way.
After a weekend carving I realised I needed to alter the handle shape slightly and now the sheath fit is less than perfect.:togo:
If I put the sheath in boiling water, will I be able to remold it, or will I more likely destroy it? Do I need to repeat the beeswax inpregnation afterwards?
