Hi Guys
my dad has wanted a parang for the garden for a long time now so i thought instead of buying him one i would make it a lot more personal buy making him one as a christmas present. since i don't have the expertise in blacksmithing i am going to have to buy the blade but i cannot find any suppliers?? does anyone hav any ideas
(but we do have a blacksmith round the corner from were we live would it be worth phoning them up?) i have decided on using english yew for the handle ( thanks to the great knife handle woods encylopedia) and i am going to make a sheath aswell out of leather. any ideas and all comments would be welcome
