My homemade Hobo stove.

pictures are not very good.

But it works very very well.

Starting from 0, boils a 1 liter water in less than 20 minutes.

Only sticks, too little, and non xblocks. Only natural little sticks.

Stainless steel, very fast to lose heat when the sticks are burned. Few minutes.

I put few and little holes on the bottom 'cause large holes gives away a large amount of

heat that i don't want to waste. The bigger holes is "oval" cutted to avoid problems if

over-heated, i've seen what happen when only the last part was to cut away, (all job is

hand made with no cutting machines or other stuff...), so i think is better shape.

The sticks are made with 4 stainless steel skewers easy to bend with no heating.

The points at the end are rounded to avoid risk of injuries.

It's light and very tough made.

13cm large, (5,18 inches)

22cm tall, (8,66 inches).

The hole in the center is 10cm x 7cm , (3,94 x 2,75 inches).

Preparing an external soft case to fit with my back pack.

It works really well.

Nice looking stove .
And nothing wrong with the photos ( now I can see them ).
Looks like it's made from a section of stainless chimney, good idea.
I've just made one from a stainless drainer , yet to post photos though.

No. It was made to keep fresh bottles.

It was lying in a rack...so i used in a better way. The result is good for me.

It works very good, and the steel seems to be strong enough to allow many and many

uses.

I'll post new photos when is on. Really good hobo stove.

Yes.

It's an original ,military poncho/tarp.

A bit heavy, (i have two of this), but very strong material. They can be connected easy and

it become a big tarp.

Military things can be useful for good things sometimes...these are cheaper and good with

heavy rain too.

Hi, nope im not Itailian i used to do military re enactment 2nd world war stuff so i knew of the 1929 pattern telo mimetico clothing and equipment, although that was a slightly differant shade thats why i asked is that a post war poncho/shelter,there are a few place's in the uk where you can get the post war shelters.I think Italy using the 1929 pattern was the first country to issue its troops with camouflage equipment.
