I think we need more information?
My go to is a Regatta anorak which was about £80 and is waterproof.
I like the layer system so warm and breathable are handled by other layers.
Greencraft on youtube has a good series on bushcraft on a budget.

Dude's in Finland, which makes UK brands perhaps less useful recommendations, also, Finland is going to have different winter weather to the UK, so good in UK might not be so good. Also, having joined on the 15th October, hasn't been back on forum since 16th October, so all advice posted since has just been whistling in the wind.
