Heads-up - outdoors kit at Aldi starts today (Thursday 12 April)

I just called in Aldi at lunchtime and they are doing loads of outdoors type stuff at cheap prices. I bought some gaiters (£2.99) a compass (£1.99) and thermo mug (£1.99). There is plenty of other stuff too so may be worth a trip if you have one local.

It's very true that usually you get what you pay for but for folks on a tight budget; cheap and cheerful can be fine as a 'make do' until funds improve. I just thought I'd mention it.
