About two years ago Simon and Lisa Thomas, traveling around the world on their BMW bikes, stayed with us for a few days here in Brazil. Since then weve kept in contact with them. They are in the North America now.
Recently they started posting videos on Youtube. The South American Leg video shows where Simon broke his neck in the Amazon (w/ x-rays). With a broken neck he rewired the main electical line of the bike with his leatherman. When they were here we spent alot of time talking wilderness survival and bushcraft. I have been encouraging them to write about this aspect of their adventure. They have alot of knowledge and practical experience.
